Dave Design is an industrial design and manufacturing consulting firm founded by David A. Ruigh in 1994. Our design team have a wealth of mechanical design and manufacturing experience gleaned from tenure at some of the valley’s top companies, Hewlett-Packard, Amdahl, Varian, among others.

Through partnerships with other Bay Area design firms and independently, Dave Design has worked on mechanical design projects for Applied Materials, SVG, Zircon, JBL, HP, Perstorp, Tyco and many others. Projects span a wide range of disciplines and industries and include semiconductor process equipment, consumer and commercial products, automotive, sporting goods, consumer and professional audio, network hardware and electronic test equipment.
